Pricecheck take home the Rising Star Award

Pricecheck were delighted to receive the Rising Star Award at the Today’s Group Annual Members Awards Dinner on Tuesday 6th March. The annual event, held at the Liverpool Exhibition Centre was attended by over 550 Today’s Group members and suppliers.
The Today’s Group is the largest buying group in the UK, with buying power in excess of £5.7 billion. It also boasts the largest network of independent cash & carry wholesalers, foodservice and delivered wholesalers in the UK.
Pricecheck have been a Today’s Group member since 2015 and received the Rising Star Award in recognition of the team’s hard work and commitment over the past 12 months in building strong ongoing relationships with the Today’s Group and its suppliers.
By offering a diverse range of discounted and regular lines in over 20 categories, Pricecheck offers its varied customer base of independents, convenience retailers and pharmacies, the benefits of lower cost prices and higher margins.
In 2016, Pricecheck introduced a new food and drink category which helped to cement the Today’s Group and Pricecheck partnership. Pricecheck now offers food, drink, alcohol and pet care products alongside its traditional categories of toiletries, fragrance, and household.
On receiving the Rising Star Award Business Development Director, Chris Roberts commented: “Although we have been in business for 40 years, we are continually growing and developing our offering. This award shows how with hard work and commitment from Pricecheck and the Today’s Group, we can offer the right products, in the right categories, at the right prices. Moving into new areas such as food & drink has enabled us to not only introduce new customers to Pricecheck, but to also offer our existing customers an ever-improving and diverse range to assist them in growing their own businesses”.
The award also highlights Pricecheck’s exceptional growth over the last 2 years, with the company on target to achieve a turnover of £100m by 2020.
